- PADRE – Token holders of the platform acquired by PumpFun will receive a certain percentage of PUMP tokens.
- 22:00 – The minutes of the previous FOMC interest rate meeting will be released.

- Binance will discontinue its Binance Live live streaming service.
- Hats Finance, a decentralized securities project, has announced it will cease its custody services.

Thursday, January 1
- Markets in the US are closed due to the New Year’s holiday.
- The Central Bank of Lithuania has warned that cryptocurrency services without a MiCA license will be illegal from January 1st.
- The EU’s digital asset tax transparency law will come into effect in January, requiring crypto service providers to collect and report user transaction data.
- The Monetary Authority of Hong Kong will begin implementing Basel capital requirements for crypto assets on January 1, 2026.
- The United Kingdom will require cryptocurrency exchanges to collect and report transaction records of their UK customers from 2026 onwards.
