According to the news of the US media organization The Pavlovic Today, US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said that President Donald Trump will announce the Bitcoin (BTC) reserve strategy at the White House Crypto Summit.
“The Bitcoin strategic reserve is something the President is interested in. He talked about it throughout the campaign and I think you’ll see it implemented on Friday.
So Bitcoin and then other currencies, other cryptocurrencies, I think, will be treated differently. Positive, but differently.”
Trump laid out his stance in a recent post on Truth Social:
“The US Crypto Reserve will elevate this critical sector after years of corrupt attacks by the Biden Administration, which is why my Executive Order on Digital Assets ordered the Presidential Working Group to move forward on a Crypto Strategic Reserve that includes XRP, SOL, and ADA. I will make sure the US is the Crypto Capital of the World. WE ARE MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
