Crypto wallet service provider Ledger has announced that it will expand its integration with Cosmos (ATOM), one of the leading blockchain ecosystems.
According to the new collaboration, crypto investors using the Ledger Live service will have the opportunity to stake ATOM, the native token of the Cosmos network, and the coins of 3 leading projects. Crypto startups announced for now include Quicksilver, Onomy, and Persistence.
According to the information reflected in the crypto press, the hardware wallet provider aims to integrate with at least 20 more Cosmos projects by the end of the year. Crypto investors using Ledger's hardware wallets can send digital assets to another address or earn passive income by staking, thanks to the Ledger Live application.
Blockchain developers emphasized that Ledger is the first hardware wallet to offer these 3 possibilities together in the Cosmos ecosystem. Charles Guillemet, one of the Ledger executives, said:
"We have a team in our company that follows innovative blockchain projects. Identifying and incorporating these startups is not an easy task."
According to the hardware wallet provider's announcement, all tokens in the Cosmos ecosystem can be staked through Ledger Live.
