The House of Representatives Agriculture Committee will hold a session tomorrow on the future of digital assets and the need for clarity and harmony in spot markets.

The session comes a day after the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sued the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance and its CEO, Changpeng Zhao, for allegedly violating securities laws by offering unregistered digital asset securities products to US investors. will happen.

The session will feature two witness panels, including current and former chairmen of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), which oversees the derivatives markets and has jurisdiction over certain aspects of digital assets.

The session will take place tomorrow at 17:00 Turkish time.

CFTC chairman Rostin Behnam will testify at the first panel, followed by former CFTC chairman Chris Giancarlo, known as the "Crypto Father" for his advocacy of innovation and regulation in the crypto space.
