The cryptocurrency market will see numerous critical economic developments and altcoin events in the new week, following the multi-billion dollar attack on Binance.

The cryptocurrency market experienced a very eventful week last week. The theft of approximately $6.3 billion worth of cryptocurrencies from hot wallets of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, caused sharp fluctuations in Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins.

Binance announced it will cover the losses resulting from the attack using its own resources and has begun gradually restarting withdrawals. Following these developments, investors are closely monitoring both the potential impact of the attack on the markets and the important economic data to be released in the coming week.

Inflation data to be released, particularly in Türkiye and the Eurozone, the US midterm elections, and the US non-farm payrolls data to be published on Friday are expected to influence market direction.

However, Zcash (ZEC) NU7 network upgrade, Ethereum’s major developer conference Devcon 8, Binance’s VELODROME token transactions, and numerous altcoin unlocks were also among the week’s notable developments.
