While the crypto community expects more pro-crypto regulations under the leadership of the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, the most important of these is the approval of more altcoin ETFs.
But expectations are not limited to this.
Telos CEO John Lilic said in a post on his X account that US President-elect Donald Trump should consider pardoning Changpeng Zhao (CZ).
According to John Lilic, if Donald Trump pardons CZ, CZ can then return as Binance CEO and contribute to the growth of the crypto industry.
Lilic also described CZ as a victim of the legal battle.
Responding to this post, CZ responded to this post and said that he does not want to continue in his role as CEO but would welcome a pardon.
“I have no desire to be CEO again. But I am certainly not against an amnesty.”
No wish to be CEO again. But definitely wouldn't mind a pardon.

Under the Binance-US settlement, CZ agreed to resign as Binance CEO and pay a $50 million fine as part of his guilty plea to US federal charges. In addition to CZ, Binance agreed to pay $4.3 billion in fines for violating US laws.
