While the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin has continued to grow since its launch, some have accepted that BTC is a currency while others have argued that it has no value.
However, while BTC continues to prove itself day by day, JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon, known for his hostility towards Bitcoin, made new statements.
I Will Never Buy Bitcoin!
Speaking to CNBC at the Australian Financial Review business summit, the famous CEO continued his criticism of Bitcoin, saying that most of BTC's practical uses are illegal activities such as sex trafficking, fraud and terrorism.
“I don't know what Bitcoin is for, but I defend your right to smoke, and I will defend your right to buy Bitcoin.
But I personally will never buy Bitcoin.”
You Should Wait for June for Interest Reduction!
Dimon, who made a statement about FED interest rate cuts as well as Bitcoin statements, suggested that the FED should be more cautious in reducing inflation and suggested that the FED wait until June before reducing interest rates.
“I think that the FED should proceed with interest rate cuts depending on the data. Because if I were the FED, I would wait.
You can always reduce interest quickly and dramatically. The issue of decreasing inflation is in some danger here. Because there is still uncertainty about whether inflation has decreased to the desired level. “At this point, if I were the Fed, I would wait until June and let everything be resolved.”
