Jeremy Hogan, a lawyer and a popular figure in the cryptocurrency community, especially among XRP fans, was the victim of a Twitter hack.
The hacker posted a tweet from Hogan’s account claiming to be feeling generous and offering to double back all XRP tokens sent to a specific wallet address.
The tweet also provided wallet addresses for BTC and ERC20 tokens and claimed that the giveaway would only take 30 minutes.
This kind of hack, which is obviously a fraud attempt, was shared for Bitcoin in the same way on the Twitter accounts of former US President Barack Obama and current US President Joe Biden in recent years.
At the same time, Elon Musk, who is currently the CEO of Twitter, once again sent such a Tweet from his Twitter account and thousands of cryptocurrency investors were also victimized.
It was noteworthy that Jeremy Hogan’s Twitter account was hacked and such a post was made after Hogan’s posts became popular after the positive outcome of the XRP case.
