While there is very little time for the Bitcoin halving, optimism about the halving continues in the market.
Crypto at this point. com CEO Kris Marszalek made statements regarding the Bitcoin halving and warned of potential BTC sales before long-term growth restarts.
Speaking to Bloomberg, Kris Marszalek doubled investors' concerns by pointing to possible sales in Bitcoin during the Halving event.
Pointing out that sales have historically occurred after BTC halvings, the famous CEO said that he believes that “buy the rumor, sell the news” will occur after this halving.
“As we get closer to the Bitcoin halving, there may be some selling due to the trade of buying the rumors and selling the news. But longer term, the halving will make a significant difference to the price.
Despite the short-term uncertainties, it is necessary to be confident in the long-term positive effects of the halving for the cryptocurrency market.
“At this point, I expect there to be significant market activity, that is, an increase, in the six months following the halving.”
