What's Happening with Bitcoin and Ethereum? While Germany Continues to Sell BTC, the USA Moves Its Ethereums!

The German government continues Bitcoin (BTC) sales from where it left off. According to on-chain data and analysis platform Arkham Intelligence data, the address labeled as belonging to the German government made Bitcoin transfer again.

According to Arkham Intelligence data, the German government transferred a total of 400 BTC worth approximately $25.28 million to Bitstamp, Coinbase and Kraken today.

The data showed that German authorities sent 600 BTC and 500 BTC to an unknown address in consecutive transactions, moving 200 BTC to Bitstamp, 100 BTC to Coinbase, and 100 BTC to Kraken.

Since the last two weeks, the German Government has transferred a total of more than 2,700 BTC to CEXs.

The German Government currently holds 44,692 BTC worth $2.81 billion.

Ethereum Transfer from USA!

Again, according to Arkham data, the address “0x05…e049”, labeled as the US Government, transferred 3,375 thousand Etheruem worth approximately $11.75 million to the address “0x5a…1871”, which is unknown today.

The address contains seized funds from Estonian crypto entrepreneurs Potapenko and Turogin. Previously, another US government address used to hold the seized funds transferred 11.84 BTC to 3KHnTq…muuso9.

There is no ETH left in the US Government's address.
