Unusual Trading Volume Spike in 5 Altcoins on Upbit, South Korea’s Largest Cryptocurrency Exchange

Unusual transaction volume increases were detected in some altcoins on Upbit, South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange.

The 1-hour chart for QuarkChain (QKC) showed a significant increase in trading volume on Upbit. The average 50 1-hour volume was $3 million, but the last recorded volume was a staggering $10 million, recording an increase of 234.85%. In Binance, the volume decreased by 46.95%, falling from an average of over 1 million dollars to 713 thousand dollars.

There was also a significant volume increase for Ankr (ANKR) on the 4-hour chart on Upbit. Average 50 4-hour volume increased from $35 million to $71 million, an increase of 105.86%. On Binance, volume decreased slightly by 6.98%, from $38 million to $35 million.

Mina's (MINA) 1-hour volume on Upbit increased by 182.32%, from an average of 422 thousand dollars to 1 million dollars. On Binance, the volume remained almost unchanged.

Neo (NEO) also experienced a volume increase on Upbit. 1-hour volume increased by 217.51%, from an average of 72 thousand dollars to 229 thousand dollars. On Binance, the volume increased by 42.2%, from 44 thousand dollars to 63 thousand dollars.

EOS's 1-hour volume on Upbit increased by 197.37%, from an average of 293 thousand dollars to 871 thousand dollars. On Binance, volume increased by a modest 7.58%, from $933 thousand to $1 million.
