Turkish Minister of Finance Reveals Postponement of Law on Exchange Taxation

Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek announced that the draft tax study for the stock market has been postponed for a while. In his post on his X account, Minister Şimşek stated that the package containing tax regulations aimed at increasing efficiency and justice in taxes and reducing informality will be presented to the Turkish Grand National Assembly soon.

Minister Şimşek said, “In line with the feedback from all relevant parties, we are postponing the draft tax study for the stock exchange for a while to re-evaluate.”
