Justin Sun, founder of TRON and advisor to HTX, clarified that Binance’s restrictions on HTX-related transactions only apply to users in the United Kingdom and the European Union.

Sun stated that he had spoken with Binance officials and clarified that HTX does not operate in the United Kingdom or the European Union. He noted that the company is continuing negotiations with regulatory bodies in both regions and that users affected by this process can contact HTX customer service.

Sun stated that HTX would provide the necessary coordination to resolve the issues users were experiencing.

Binance announced on August 14 that, due to new regulations and enforcement rules, it would suspend transactions involving HTX and 10 other cryptocurrency platforms starting August 23.

The decision affects HTX (formerly Huobi), as well as Rapira, Aifory Pro, ABCeX, WhiteBird, NoOnecrypto, Tradex, Monease, BitPapa, Exnode, and EXMO.

Binance has stated that transactions attempted from the specified date onwards may be held in abeyance and subject to compliance review. The exchange also warned that restrictions may be placed on relevant wallets during the review period.
