Lighter (LIT) users are reporting that they are unable to withdraw funds normally from the platform.
The error message users are encountering states “Too many Layer-2 withdrawals,” and it is indicated that the problem stems from Lighter Prover’s processing speed lagging behind Sequencer’s.
According to the chain data, the last processed block is at level 137,759,879, and this block was finalized approximately four hours ago. There has been no official statement or response from the Lighter team regarding this matter so far.
On the other hand, Lighter’s native token, LIT, was launched today. Late last night, the team detailed the purpose and distribution structure of the LIT token in a series of posts shared on the X platform. The statement described LIT as a fundamental tool for “harmonizing” incentives within the ecosystem.
According to the shared information, 50% of the total token supply has been allocated to the ecosystem. Within this scope, an immediate airdrop is planned for users participating in the first two points seasons of 2025. This airdrop corresponds to 25% of the token’s fully diluted value. The remaining share allocated to the ecosystem will be used to finance future incentive programs and strategic partnerships.
