Cocos-BCX (COCOS) altcoin, the scaling solution for Web3 game developers, announced that it has rebranded as COMBO.
The name COMBO aligns with its focus on creating a next-generation decentralized gaming infrastructure, according to the cryptocurrency company's statement.
As part of the rebranding, COMBO announced the first group of 24 partners to support the ecosystem. These partners include some well-known names in the Web3 space such as DappRadar, NodeReal, Celer Network and Alibaba Cloud, as well as providers of cloud computing.
According to the developers' statement, COMBO's primary goal will be to find a high-performance chain for game developers, adapt it to the game engine, and solve key issues such as reducing transaction gas fees.
COMBO founder Bob.C said:
“COMBO brings together developers and ideas that deliver a great gaming experience for gamers. By creating an open-source, game-focused Tier-2, COMBO bridges traditional game developers to enter the web3 game world and grow efficiently.
It was smart to develop a Web3 game-oriented Tier-2 across multiple chains, starting with BNB Chain, to achieve high scalability and minimize transaction costs.”
