As the cryptocurrency markets enter a new week, analysts continue to share developments and prominent altcoins that have caught investors’ attention. In this context, cryptocurrency analyst The DeFi Investor has revealed the projects and key developments he will be closely following next week.
According to the analyst’s weekly watchlist, project-based developments and macroeconomic data flows, in particular, can play a decisive role in the markets. The altcoins included in the list and the prominent topics are as follows:
- MegaETH (MEGA): The project’s Token Generation Event (TGE) is scheduled to take place on April 30th.
- Arbitrum (ARB) & Aave (AAVE): Arbitrum DAO is expected to vote on whether to use ETH assets frozen after a hacker attack to reinstate rsETH collateral.
- Toncoin (TON): Transaction fees on the TON network are planned to be reduced by approximately six times in the coming days.
- Rayls (RLS): The public mainnet launch of the Rayls project will take place on April 30th.
- Sky Ecosystem (SKY): The project is expected to release its first quarter 2026 financial report towards the end of April.
- Polymarket (POL): It has been announced that Polymarket may separate from the Polygon network and switch to a different blockchain, or even its own Layer 1 or Layer 2 solution.
On the other hand, the analyst pointed out that not only altcoin developments but also the macroeconomic agenda can have a strong impact on the markets. In this context, the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision on April 29th, along with the fact that approximately 20% of S&P 500 companies will announce their financial results in the same week, are considered significant developments that could increase market volatility.
