A judge in the UK ruled on Thursday after a month-long hearing that Craig Wright was not Satoshi Nakamoto and did not write the Bitcoin (BTC) whitepaper, Coindesk reported.
UK Judge James Mellor made his decision in the case filed by the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) against Craig Wright and determined that Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto.
At the hearing held today, the judge said that the evidence that Craig Wright was not Satoshi was “very strong”.
As you may recall, COPA filed a lawsuit against Craig Wright to obtain a ruling that he is not Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, in order to prevent him from suing other developers or claiming intellectual property rights over the technology.
