Telegram and Toncoin (TON) founder Pavel Durov, who was unexpectedly detained in France over the weekend, was released on probation yesterday after a long detention.
Pavel Durov, who was released on the condition that he pay a €5 million bail and not leave France, also faces an investigation in Switzerland.
Durov is under investigation for a number of crimes, including allegations that he was complicit in helping fraudsters, drug traffickers and people who distributed child pornography, Forbes reported.
Forbes reported that Durov was complained about in Geneva by his ex-wife Irina Bolgar.
Durov was accused of physical violence against their youngest son, born in September 2017, causing injuries such as concussions and sleep disorders, Forbes reported.
The report reads: “Forbes has learned that Telegram billionaire CEO and founder Pavel Durov, who was arrested in France, is also a suspect in a criminal case in Switzerland. The case was brought by his ex-wife Irina Bolgar, who claims to have three children with Durov.
