The technology and finance worlds have entered a turning point where artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing business models and market valuations. Investment strategist Jordi Visser, a guest on Anthony Pompliano’s show, argued that the rules in the software industry are being redefined and that Bitcoin will emerge as the strongest asset in this new order.
Visser, drawing attention to the sharp declines in software stocks in particular, stated that the market is beginning to price in the “time pressure” created by artificial intelligence. Noting that growth projections, traditionally spanning years, have been reduced to days or weeks thanks to AI, Visser said, “The probability of a company still being a growth company three years from now is rapidly decreasing due to the disruptive power of AI.”
One of Visser’s most striking claims is that the current financial infrastructure will be insufficient for an AI-based economy. “AI cannot survive without crypto,” Visser says, explaining his reasoning as follows:
“Traditional financial systems and legal boundaries cannot keep pace with the transaction speed of AI agents. In a world on the rise of deepfakes and fake information, cryptography will be vital for verifying identity and data.”
Recalling that Bitcoin was the fastest recovering asset in past crises (the 2020 liquidity crisis, the 2023 banking crisis), Visser predicts that governments will be forced to intervene in a potential economic slowdown. Visser argues that in the event of economic turbulence, Bitcoin will again be “the fastest horse in the race,” and this necessary integration with artificial intelligence will trigger a parabolic rise in Bitcoin’s value.
