South Korea’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb, continue to expand their product portfolios with new digital asset listings.
According to official announcements, Upbit will make its Conflux (CFX) token available for trading on Korean Won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT) markets. Bithumb, on the other hand, announced that it will launch a KRW trading pair for its Gravity Token (GRVT).
According to Upbit’s announcement, deposit and withdrawal operations for the CFX token will be activated approximately 1.5 hours after the announcement is published. Spot trading is scheduled to begin on July 31st at 16:00.
The exchange emphasized that transactions will only be supported through the Conflux eSpace network, and tokens sent from other networks will not be accepted. It was also stated that the start time of trading may be delayed if sufficient liquidity is not available.
Conflux is known as a Layer-1 blockchain developed with the goal of scalability, security, and decentralization. The project uses its own unique ledger structure called Tree-Graph and features a hybrid consensus mechanism combining Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS).
It also offers two different execution environments, Core Space and eSpace, which support both its own ecosystem and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible applications. Recently, the Conflux team has been focusing on real-world asset tokenization (RWA) and stablecoin-based payment infrastructures, particularly in the Chinese and Asian markets.
Meanwhile, Bithumb also announced that it will activate the Korean Won trading pair for Gravity Token (GRVT). GRVT, which will be supported on the Ethereum network, will allow deposits and withdrawals within two hours of the announcement, with spot trading opening on July 31st at 2 PM. The reference price is set at 346 KRW, and 33 block confirmations will be required for the token.
Gravity Token stands out as the native utility token of the GRVT ecosystem, which aims to unify trading, investing, and payment services under a single account structure, starting with on-chain perpetual futures trading. The project utilizes Validium technology to enhance transaction data privacy, while the GRVT token offers various use cases such as staking and access to platform services.
