While the SEC's spot Ethereum ETF decision is welcomed in the cryptocurrency industry, statements are coming one after another from important names.
At this point, an ETH ETF comment came from Shiba Inu (SHIB) chief developer Shytoshi Kusama.
Congratulating Ethereum on its historic success, Kusama pointed out the possibility of the Shiba Inu ETF.
“Congratulations to our friends at Ethereum on receiving ETF APPROVAL!
Does this pave the way for SHIB?
“I'll leave the decision up to you… I'll continue to focus on the future.”
With this post, SHIB developer Kusama also signaled that many updates will come that will further increase trust in the ecosystem.
Kusama's post sparked speculation among Shiba Inu investors and enthusiasts, who argued that the popular meme token could follow Ethereum with its own ETF.
