Ripple CEO Commented on Elon Musk's XRP Speech! Warned Over XRP!

Dogecoin (DOGE) supporter Tesla CEO Elon Musk has recently been making frequent appearances at US presidential candidate Donald Trump's rallies.

Speaking at these rallies, Elon Musk mentioned XRP for the first time yesterday. Responding to a question about XRP, Musk did not make a statement of support for XRP and preferred to remain neutral for XRP.

Although Musk did not express any support for XRP, his comments caused excitement in the XRP community.

While Elon Musk's XRP comments continue to be talked about, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse was quick to comment.

Garlinghouse, who retweeted a video in which Musk was first asked the XRP question and then responded, said in his statement that US voters care about cryptocurrencies, especially XRP.

Stating that XRP and cryptocurrencies in general are not a niche topic, Garlinghouse pointed out that US voters want real positive policies that create innovation and jobs in the country.

Emphasizing that cryptocurrencies have become a core issue for many voters, the Ripple CEO also stated that political candidates who ignore the importance of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology risk losing the support of an informed and growing voter base.

Ripple took a diplomatic path when the famous CEO made comments about the importance of crypto. Ripple Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty donated $300,000 worth of XRP to Donald Trump, while Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen donated $10 million to Kamala Harris. At this point, Larsen’s donation to Harris was criticized by many XRP users who felt that the current administration was harsh on crypto regulation.
