Pi Coin Team Issued a Warning: “Time is Running Out, Users Should Do These Things To Avoid Losing Their Pi Coins!”

Pi Network has warned that the Grace Period deadline to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification and Mainnet migration will end on February 28, 2025.

The original deadline of January 31, 2025 was brought forward to February 28, 2025, giving users an extra month to secure their Pi holdings.

Pi Network developers have stated that the extension is independent of the Open Network launch scheduled for Q1 2025. This means that the Open Network could launch before or after the new Grace Period deadline, but the extension will allow more users to have time to complete the necessary steps.

Failure to complete KYC and Mainnet migration by February 28, 2025 could result in users losing a significant portion of their Pi balance. Only Pi mined within six months prior to the migration will be retained, while older balances will be forfeited.

“Given the multiple extensions provided, we strongly recommend taking action now to secure your full Pi balance,” the developers said on the matter.

To complete KYC and Mainnet migration, users must:

• Open the Pi mining app.
• Tap 'Mainnet Checklist' at the top of the screen.
• Follow the steps to complete KYC and migration.
