After Bitcoin and Ethereum received spot ETF approval, many companies applied for ETFs for many different altcoins.
Among these altcoins, the most likely approval is given to XRP and Solana, while 15 XRP ETF applications came from major companies including Grayscale, Bitwise, and Canary Capital. Despite these applications, BlackRock has not made any moves on XRP to date, and their silence may be their strategy.
However, a pseudonymous analyst said he had spoken to a BlackRock official and said two dates should be noted.
While the dates are stated to be May 1 and June 9, the reasons behind the given dates are not yet known, but speculation is growing that something significant could happen.
At this point, the crypto community is speculating that these dates could be potential dates for bullish events such as BlackRock filing for an XRP ETF or the end of the lawsuit between Ripple and the SEC.
