According to the last minute development, regarding the request to freeze the assets of Binance.US submitted by the SEC, the judge asked the two parties to work together to prevent the assets from being frozen.
The judge did not reach a decision regarding the asset freeze request, but said he preferred that the parties reach an agreement on their own. He requested a status report on the negotiations until Thursday afternoon.
The judge ordered Binance and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to try to reach an agreement for the exchange to collateralize US assets, but allow Binance to continue operating as usual.
Binance.US had told the judge that it would not be able to continue its activities if its assets were frozen.
Binance will have to provide a list of operating expenses.
