The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced that it reached a settlement with the bankrupt cryptocurrency company Voyager. The settlement will permanently ban Voyager from using consumers' assets.
In addition to the settlement, the FTC is also filing a lawsuit against the company's former CEO. Details of the case have not yet been disclosed.
The FTC did not provide further details about the lawsuit or settlement against Voyager's former CEO.
About an hour earlier, the CFTC had filed a lawsuit against the Voyager founder and former CEO.
