According to the last minute development reported by the Financial Times, cryptocurrency company Genesis has stopped withdrawals of its customers.
Part of Digital Currency Group (DCG), a conglomerate of more than 200 crypto-focused businesses, Genesis offered trading, lending, borrowing and structured products to institutional investors in cryptocurrency markets.
However, the company filed for bankruptcy in January after the Gemini exchange did not allow its customers to withdraw.
