JUST IN: Court Cancelled Terra Founder Do Kwon's Extradition to the USA, LUNC Price Moved!

According to Bloomberg, the Montenegrin Court annulled Terra (LUNA) Founder Do Kwon's extradition approval to the United States, citing procedural errors and lack of clarity.

With this news, LUNC price started to rise.

As you may remember, former Terra CEO Do Kwon was caught and arrested while he was about to board a plane in Montenegro on charges of possessing fake official documents.

Do Kwon, who was sentenced to prison in Montenegro for possession of false documents, would be extradited to the USA after this sentence. Because the Podgorica Court stated that the legal conditions for Kwon's extradition were met and decided to extradite Kwon to the USA.

However, Do Kwon, who objected to this decision, seems to have gotten what he wanted. Because the Montenegrin Court of Appeals decided to send the extradition case to the Podgorica Court for retrial.

It was stated that if the courts in Montenegro approve the extradition of Do Kwon at the end of the process, the final decision will be made by the country's Minister of Justice.

As it is known, the USA and South Korea requested the extradition of Do Kwon, the founder of Terraform Labs, to face the investigations launched regarding the major Terra collapse in May 2022.
