Judge Torres Announces New Deadlines in Ripple (XRP) v. SEC Case

The long-running legal battle between the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Ripple Labs, the company behind XRP, could go to a jury trial in the second quarter of 2024.

Judge Torres said the court will try to schedule a jury trial for the SEC/Ripple case in the second calendar quarter of 2024, according to a statement by cryptocurrency journalist Eleanor Terrett.

Torres ordered both parties to communicate deadlines for the hearing by Wednesday, August 23.
