Whale activity in the cryptocurrency market has increased significantly in recent hours. Transactions by investors holding large amounts of funds indicate substantial volume movements, particularly in Ethereum and some altcoins.
According to on-chain data, Trend Research withdrew approximately 27,000 Ethereum (ETH) from the Binance exchange. The total value of this transaction was estimated at approximately $57.97 million. It is also believed that the same institution transferred $150.47 million worth of USDC to Binance and may be planning to use these funds to withdraw more ETH.
On the other hand, a whale investor sold 2,311 XAUT (approximately $11.7 million) that he had held for two weeks via Bitfinex and bought 5,313 ETH (approximately $11.33 million) in return.
Another major investor made a significant purchase of HYPE, the token of the Hyperliquid ecosystem. The whale bought 86,259 HYPE tokens for approximately $3.27 million. The average price of the transaction was around $37.95.
The market activity didn’t stop there. A newly created wallet withdrew approximately 2 million TRUMP tokens ($5.94 million) from Binance. The TRUMP memecoin had surged yesterday after US President Donald Trump announced he would be hosting a dinner with token holders.
