Binance, the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it has more than 200 million registered users worldwide, a significant milestone.
This achievement comes just two years after the platform reached 100 million users.
Expressing his gratitude to the platform's user base, Binance CEO Richard Teng said: “We have reached 200 million Binance users. This milestone would not be possible without you, our incredible community. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
Teng also said, “The journey to 1 billion users continues. Let's continue to develop together.” said.
Singaporean industry expert Richard Teng, who was chosen by Binance to support global compliance efforts in 2021, replaced Changpeng Zhao in November. Teng, who first joined Binance as the CEO of Binance Singapore, was appointed head of regional markets last May, after serving as MENA president.
Before joining Binance, Teng served as CEO of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority at Abu Dhabi Global Market.
