Hard to Believe Prophecy for Bitcoin in 2024 from Edward Snowden

Former US National Security Agency employee and whistleblower Edward Snowden made a bold prediction about the future of the world's most popular cryptocurrency, Bitcoin.

In a recent tweet, Snowden claimed that this year it will be revealed that a national government in the world purchased Bitcoin without publicly disclosing this fact.

Snowden, who currently lives as a refugee in Russia, is known for leaking classified information about the National Security Agency's mass surveillance programs in 2013. Snowden has also been a strong supporter of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, which he sees as a way to protect privacy and resist censorship.

Snowden spent 40 days at Moscow airport, trying to seek asylum from various countries. After his asylum request was rejected by 27 countries, he settled in Russia, where he remains today.

Snowden's revelations in 2013 led to changes in the laws and standards governing American intelligence agencies and the practices of U.S. technology companies, which now encrypt much of their Web traffic for security. Snowden describes his life and experiences in the intelligence community in his memoir Permanent Record.

  • What a load of bull sht. We are in the midst of a warm-up for the 3rd world war - if anybody hasn’t noticed yet. Governments need all the money they can get in preparation. It’s the rich corporations and individuals that are trying to put their money away, very much acknowledging the fact of world’s heading for the war. If snowden did say that, then one of the putin’s assistants must have whispered such junk into his ear
