According to EmberCN's post, Vitalik Buterin sold memecoin Neiro for Ethereum.
After its creation, the Ethereum-based memecoin project Neiro transferred 17.1 billion Neiro (4% of the total supply) to Buterin's address via its distribution address. This was subsequently used to promote Buterin as the biggest owner of the project.
Vitalik then sold 17.1 billion Neiro for 44.5 ETH ($112 thousand), causing the price of Neiro to drop by 60%.
