Flare Network Announces New Airdrop Event

Another airdrop news came from Flare Network, which was developed on the Ethereum blockchain. According to the official Twitter account, Wrapped has organized a new Flare (FLR) airdrop for FLR (WFLR) owners.

Flare Network's first airdrop event kicked off on January 9, 2023. Investors holding XRP tokens on December 12, 2020 benefit from the token distribution event. In the first airdrop, 4.2 billion FLR tokens were distributed on major exchanges such as OKX, Binance, Kraken and KuCoin.

Ripple-owning investors, on the other hand, obtained FLR almost exactly in proportion to their XRP tokens. According to the data on the date of distribution, Ripple investors obtained 15% of the FLR supply.

After the initial airdrop, Flare Network launched a 36-month series of FlareDrops, making distributions continuous. The developers aim to release approximately 24 billion FLR tokens as a result of the distribution.

The distribution named FlareDrop.03, which will take place tomorrow, means that it is the 3rd periodic airdrop of the process. FLR token distribution will end in March 2026.
