Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin today unlocked and received 845,205 STRK worth $1.07 million from Ethereum L2 network Starknet's Locked Token Grant contract.
Vitalik Buterin, one of StarkNet's first individual investors, withdrew the STRK tokens reserved and locked for him into his wallet.
According to Arkhan Intelligence data, Vitalik Buterin currently has 845,205 STRK tokens in his wallet.
While Buterin has not yet made any transactions with STRK tokens worth approximately $1 million, it is not yet known what he will do.
However, while Buterin unlocking STRK tokens and withdrawing them to his wallet increases the possibility of a sale, analysts do not expect the $1 million sale to have a serious impact on the price, given STRK's daily volume and market value.
Apart from Ethereum (ETH) and STRK, Buterin's wallet contains various altcoins such as WETH, KNC, SDOG, DEGEN.
STRK, which rose to $7 after being listed on Binance in February, but then dropped to $1, continues to be traded at $1.21 at the time of writing.
