US presidential candidate Donald Trump, known for his opposition to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies during his former presidency, has made a complete “U-turn” and is now making statements in support of BTC and cryptocurrencies.
At this point, Trump, who gave the green light to BTC, announced in a statement yesterday that he would accept cryptocurrency donations in his election campaign.
Trump, who met with those who purchased his NFT and made many important statements about cryptocurrencies, also talked about the meme token Jeo Boden (BODEN), which refers to the misspelling of US President Joe Biden's name.
During the spontaneous question-answer event, Trump commented, “I don't like this job at all. This is too much money for a coin, I don't like this investment” after a participant told him about BODEN and said that it had a market value of 240 million dollars.
After Trump's BODEN comment, the price started to rise and rose to $0.42. However, BODEN, which was withdrawn afterwards, continues to be traded around $ 0.36, with an increase of approximately 16.5% in the last 24 hours at the time of writing.
After Trump's statements, the meme token called MAGA (TRUMP) also started to rise. TRUMP continues to trade at $5.7 with a 35% rise in the last 24 hours.
