Donald Trump, known for his anti-Bitcoin (BTC) and anti-cryptocurrency statements during his previous presidency, is now making positive statements in his election campaign.
Trump, who has made positive statements about Bitcoin and crypto in almost every speech, turned to Bitcoin to solve the US national debt problem.
David Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin Magazine and aide to Trump's cryptocurrency campaign, stated that Trump consulted him about whether Bitcoin could be a solution to solve the US's $35 trillion debt.
Stating that Trump asked him this question in the first meeting, Bailey explained that he had some ideas but said that he was not ready to discuss this issue in their first meeting.
Bailey stated that, as the Bitcoin Magazine team, they advised Donald Trump to develop a moderate policy towards Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
