Famous Japanese automotive giant Honda, with a groundbreaking move, has entered the developing cryptocurrency world.
Honda Accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum in Revolutionary Partnership
By establishing a key partnership with blockchain payment system FCF Pay, Honda is not only reshaping the consumer experience, but also pushing Japan to the forefront of the Web3 industry.
This partnership will revolutionize the way Honda purchases its products by allowing customers to use digital currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum instead of traditional fiat currencies.
FCF Pay is a famous blockchain payment system that covers several major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple, as well as meme coins such as Shiba Inu and Dogecoin.
Tron founder Justin Sun also tweeted about the issue. Justin Sun used the following statements:
Does Honda now accept Bitcoin and Ethereum? I think it's time to consider the Civic instead of the Cybertruck!
Honda’s now accepting Bitcoin and Ethereum? Guess it’s time to consider a Civic over a Cybertruck! 😂

Honda is not the first Japanese auto company to adopt cryptocurrencies. SBI Motor, another important player in the industry, had also previously opened its doors to Bitcoin as a payment tool.
Another Japanese automaker, Nissan, has also entered the Web3 world by experimenting with metaverse car sales for brands such as Infiniti, Nismo and Nissan.
These developments point to a growing trend of cryptocurrency adoption in the automotive industry, reflecting a broader shift in the acceptance of digital currencies across various industries.
