Presidential candidate Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced today the AKP election manifesto for the 2023 elections. Expressions about the digital lira were included in the AKP's election manifesto.
Accordingly, it was stated that the "digital lira" project will be implemented in the coming period.
The following statements regarding the digital Turkish Lira were used in the declaration:
"NEW GENERATION DIGITAL TURKISH LIRA PROJECT We will not make any concessions from the budget discipline that we have been maintaining with precision until today. We will implement our new generation Digital Turkish Lira project, for which we have established the design and cryptology infrastructure."
