In his first public statement since his release, cryptocurrency exchange Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has shared important updates on his plans for the future.
CZ thanked his supporters and gave insight into what lies ahead for both his personal endeavors and his broader commitments in the industry.
CZ to Continue Giggle Academy Project
Changpeng Zhao said that a project he is developing, Giggle Academy, is progressing well and will play an important role in his life in the coming years. He stated that he is committed to investing in blockchain, decentralized technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and biotechnology, sectors that he believes will shape the future. In addition to technology, Changpeng Zhao plans to devote more time and funds to philanthropy and education, and aims to develop new initiatives in these areas.
CZ stated that he is currently writing a book and that it is about two-thirds complete. “Writing a book is much more labor intensive than I expected, but I will see this through to the end,” he said.
On the operational front, the Binance founder gave his followers a reassuring message that Binance is doing well without his direct involvement. Noting that this is every founder’s dream, CZ expressed confidence in the company’s leadership and future.
CZ concluded by thanking his supporters and saying that their encouragement kept him strong during his darkest moments. He hinted that he could be back on the lecture circuit soon.
