CZ, the CEO of Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, occasionally organizes an "Ask Me Anything (AMA)" event on Twitter and answers questions.
CZ, who made important statements in these events in general, spoke today at an AMA event organized by Binance.
Addressing the negative approach of the USA to cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), CZ said that he thinks that the USA does not want to lose its global dominance of the US dollar behind this approach.
Stating that the USA is a large government and that different people in the government may have different views on crypto, CZ argued that despite different opinions, crypto adoption will benefit the US government.
“Personally, I believe the best way for the US government to maintain US dollar dominance is to embrace the crypto and blockchain industry.
But different people have different opinions. In this context, some people in the banking industry think that the banking industry is under the threat of a new technology, blockchain technology. But that's ridiculous."
Binance CEO criticizes the US approach to the cryptocurrency industry. Because US regulators SEC and CFTC sued many cryptocurrency platforms for violating US laws.
One of them was Binance.
As it is known, the CFTC filed a lawsuit against Binance in March for "intentionally violating US law".
