In light of this news, an old story resurfaced in which Tidjane Thiam, former CEO of Credit Suisse, stated that he was cautious about Bitcoin and that the current interest in BTC may eventually dwindle.
The CEO of Credit Suisse, who made these statements when the price of Bitcoin was approximately $ 7,000 in 2017, also angered crypto money investors by using the following statements:
