Known for her support of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, Ark Invest founder and CEO Cathie Wood continues to show her support for crypto.
Lastly, speaking on Ark Invest's podcast, Cathie Wood compared Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) to gold.
Wood said that although BTC and ETH are known as speculative assets, investors see BTC and ETH as safe havens in the face of economic difficulties.
At this point, Wood, referring to the banking crisis in the USA, stated that Bitcoin and Ethereum remained resistant in this crisis.
Arguing that investors see BTC and ETH as safe havens, Wood thinks that BTC and ETH can also be considered gold.
Going further, the famous CEO believes that Bitcoin and Ethereum will disrupt the traditional world order.
“Bitcoin and Ethereum will disrupt the traditional world order.
BTC and ETH are seen by people as safe haven and escape to safe space.
What I mean at this point is that Bitcoin and Ethereum are also seen as safe havens like gold.
It's really interesting to see BTC and ETH as gold, and it's getting much broader-based adoption and acceptance than I thought.
This situation tells us that the world is transforming and will continue to transform. We cannot stop innovation. So as the cryptocurrency industry gains wider acceptance, people will want to see what regulatory measures the US government has taken.”
