According to breaking news, the SEC has postponed its decision on the 21Shares and Coinshares XRP Spot ETF.
It also postponed a decision on Truth Social's application for Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The new deadline for this ETF application, submitted by the social media platform affiliated with Trump Media & Technology Group, is October 8.
Truth Social's application for a Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF was submitted in June. The application, which has received only one comment so far, argued that President Donald Trump's close relationship with crypto should be denied approval. Trump has invested millions of dollars in cryptocurrency through his family's ventures, including the World Liberty Financial DeFi and stablecoin project, as well as the memecoins TRUMP and MELANIA.
