BREAKING: Israel Launches Attack on Iran, Explosions Heard in Tehran – Bitcoin Price Plummets

Tensions between Israel and Iran have reached a new level. According to reports in the US press, Israel launched a “preemptive strike” against Iran today.

According to CNN, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed that an operation was carried out against Iran. Katz stated that the attack was “preventive” and announced a state of emergency across the country in anticipation of possible Iranian retaliation. The Israeli government stated that it was prepared, particularly for attacks involving drones and ballistic missiles.

The same news report claimed that the Israeli attack was coordinated with the US. According to information based on CNN sources, contact was made with Washington before the operation.

Meanwhile, the Associated Press (AP) reported hearing explosions near the offices of Iran’s religious leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran.

Israeli media reported the attack as a “preventive operation,” while The New York Times (NYT) wrote that the US military had also begun military operations against Iran.

However, Iranian officials reported that Khamenei was not in Tehran and had been transferred to a secure location.

Bitcoin prices experienced a significant drop following the attack.
