The chilling incident came after children were playing by a creek in the town of Ingeniero Budge in Buenos Aires, when they found a red suitcase full of body parts, Jam Press reported.
After the children's parents notified the Buenos Aires police, the police examined the package, and it was reported that the victim's legs and forearm were found inside, and another arm was discovered in the creek.
Local media reported that the body parts were cut cleanly, suggesting it was the work of a professional.
Meanwhile, a later autopsy revealed that the victim had been shot three times before she was dismembered.
Police identified Algaba from her fingerprints, as well as distinctive tattoos on her body parts. The entrepreneur was reported missing since last Tuesday.
The businessman has made millions by renting luxury vehicles and selling cryptocurrencies, which he has frequently announced to his 900,000 followers on Instagram.
The phenomenon, who lived in Barcelona, Spain, was reported to have stayed in Argentina a week before he was killed.
Algaba reportedly rented an apartment and was supposed to return the keys on July 19, but did not show up or answer the phone, according to the property owner's statement.
Police have arrested a suspect in connection with Algaba's death. While the motive behind the alleged murder remains unclear, authorities suspect he was killed because of the phenomenon's numerous debts.
