Bitcoin Surges Above $35,000 Again – What Does the Latest Liquidation Data Show?

Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency, managed to rise above $ 35,000 again with a sudden movement.

BTC, which increased by approximately 2% within minutes, reached $ 35,430 at its peak and is trading at $ 35,225 at the time of writing this article. Simultaneously with the rise in BTC, a movement began in altcoins, especially Solana increased its price by more than 4% in the last hour.

The suddenly increased volatility also caused large amounts of liquidations in the futures markets. Approximately 15 million dollars of position was liquidated in the last hour of the rise. Of these, $13.65 million affected investors with short positions.

Of the liquidations in the last hour, $5.82 million was in BTC, $2.34 million in ETH, $1.63 million in SOL, $920,000 in XRP and, interestingly, $590,000 in ORDI. ORDI was listed by Binance today.

On the other hand, the total value of assets liquidated in the last 24 hours was measured as 124 million dollars, of which 79 million dollars were in long positions and 45 million dollars were in short positions. BTC, ETH, XRP and SOL led the liquidations in the last 24 hours.
