Bitcoin Exchange Binance Made Changes in the Coin Watch List! Which Altcoins Face the Danger of Delisting?

Global cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced changes to its Tracking and Seed Tags.

Binance Expands Watchlist

Based on recent reviews, Binance will expand the Watchlist to include more tokens and will remove the Seed Tag for select tokens on January 4, 2024.

The tokens that will be added to the Tracking Tag list are Aragon (ANT), Firo (FIRO), Keep3rV1 (KP3R), Mdex (MDX), MobileCoin (MOB), Reef (REEF), Vai (VAI), Monero (XMR), Zcash (ZEC) and Horizen (ZEN).

Meanwhile, GMX (GMX) and SushiSwap (SUSHI) will be removed from the Seed Tag list.

Tokens with Tracking Label exhibit significantly higher volatility and risk compared to other listed tokens.

These tokens are closely monitored with regular reviews. Tokens with Tracking Tag are at risk of no longer meeting Binance's listing criteria and being removed from the platform.

Binance conducts periodic project reviews and decides whether to add Tracking Tags and Seed Tags to tokens based on their latest findings. The following criteria are taken into consideration during the review:

  • Team commitment to the project
  • Level and quality of development activity
  • Trading volume and liquidity
  • Stability and security of the network against attacks
  • Network/smart contract stability
  • Level of public communication
  • Respond to our periodic due diligence requests
  • Evidence of unethical/fraudulent conduct or negligence
  • Contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem
