Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, started the day with the altcoin announcement.
At this point, Binance announced that they will support network upgrades and hard forks of altcoins named Sei (SEI), IOTA (IOTA) and Arweave (AR), and made the following statements in its announcement:
“Sei (SEI) network upgrade will take place approximately 03.10.2023 15:00 UTC. Deposits and withdrawals of tokens to the above-mentioned network will be suspended starting approximately 03.10.2023 14:00 UTC.
The IOTA (IOTA) network upgrade will occur approximately at 06:00 UTC on 04.10.2023. After that, the total supply will be changed to 4.6 billion IOTA tokens.
Deposits and withdrawals of tokens to the above-mentioned network will be suspended starting approximately 04.10.2023 05:00 UTC.
The Arweave (AR) network upgrade will occur approximately at 05.10.2023 07:00 UTC. Deposits and withdrawals of tokens to the above-mentioned network will be suspended starting approximately 05.10.2023 06:00 UTC.
Trading of token(s) on the networks mentioned above will not be affected.
Binance will meet all technical requirements for all users.
Deposits and withdrawals for token(s) on the above-mentioned networks will be reopened once the upgraded networks are deemed stable. “No further announcements will be made.”
After Binance's announcement, there was an upward movement in SEI and AR prices, while there was no significant movement in IOTA price.
