A hacker who stole nearly 2 million BNB altcoins (worth around $600 million) from Binance Smart Chain Bridge in October 2022 is in danger of losing most of his loot.
However, the health factor of the hacker's account is only 1.23, which means that if the price of BNB drops below $220, his collateral will be liquidated by the protocol and sold at a discount to other users.
At the time of this writing, BNB is trading at $259, down 7% in the last 24 hours.
The hacker has two options to avoid liquidation: repay the loan or increase his deposit. However, both options can be difficult for him, as he is likely to be followed by security forces and other hackers who want to claim the bounty on his head.
The hack event in question took place on October 7, 2022 and went down in history as one of the largest crypto money hacking events. After the hack, the BSC network had to be temporarily suspended.
